[IATF 16949] Notice on the issuance of IATF Stakeholder Communiqués

In January 2024, the IATF issued the following Stakeholder Communiqués.

• 2024-001: Auditor Expense Reimbursement
  
  This Communiqué states that the client organizations shall not pay audit related expenses directly to an IATF auditor.
  
  For hotel accommodation fees paid by client organizations directly to hotels at corporate rates, etc., there is no change in the payment way as before.


• 2024-002: Release of Rules 6th Edition
  
  This Communique is to announce to all IATF stakeholders that IATF approved all changes to the Rules for Achieving and Maintaining IATF Recognition (known as "IATF Rules") in December 2023, and that new rules (6th Edition) will be published in English and twelve other languages for purchase by March 31st, 2024.
  
  IATF Rules 6th Edition will be effective on the date of its publishment and the certified organization are required to fully implement by January 1st, 2025.
  
  Further information on transition to this IATF Rules 6th Edition will be announced on JQA Customers Website as soon as possible.


• 2024-003: Rules 5th Sanctioned Interpretations
  
  Due to the addition of Volvo Group as an IATF OEM member, No.9 ("Foreword") and No.10 ("Conducting onsite audit activities") in the Sanctioned Interpretations (hereinafter referred to as "SIs") of the IATF Rules 5th Edition have been updated.
